		<content type="html"><![CDATA[We need to add GEISINGER MEDICAL SYSTEMS' BILLING.<br /><br />Please do not confuse this with the OUTSTANDING Medical care that GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER in Danville, PA gives. This is a fabulous hospital with many , many outstanding doctors and nurses whom generally care about their patients. We are very lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful and outstanding Hospital whom cares about its patients.<br /><br />The billing department is located in NEWARK, NJ. GEISINGER HEALTH SYSTEM, P.O. Box 27727, Newark, NJ 07101-7727. Phone: Customer service - 1-800-640-4206.<br /><br />We have had them make mistakes from over billing, incorrect medical codes, over payments on accounts(refunds)as well as late notices for bills never received. In addition, we have received lbills that state the bill was going to collections; on bills that we received 5 months after the service date (example - date of service March 2007 - bill received in July 2008). <br /><br />We have also waited on HOLD to speak to customer service representatives for as much a 15 minutes or more.<br /><br />In the past, several of the customer service reps were not knowledgeable as well as bit rude.<br /><br />All these things causes undue STRESS to Customers(patients)and causes undue confusion with insurances companies. It also leaves patients managing their own health care. Keep in mind that these patients may be very old , very sick or recovering after just being discharged from the hospital.<br /><br />Credit amounts are not credited automatically to the balance due and so this causes yet another phone call and more undue and unnecessary stress.<br /><br />We have actually received bills for March 2007 in July 2008. The bills actually reads "passed due and delinquent."<br /><br />We also received bills from this company LATE making it impossible for the payment to get back to them in time.<br /><br />We wind up calling the billing department every time a bill comes in since there has been all sorts of mistakes as mentioned above.<br /><br />Other mistakes have included: wrong billing codes sent to the insurance as well as double billing to the insurance company. <br /><br />Is anyone else having these troubles or is just us?]]></content>

The Tech service Phone is 866-486-6866. and the Keysrokes to a live individual are then  depending on weather you have a Tom-Tom GO or ONE. I believe you'll find their tech support to be 5-star quality.-something hard to find these days. they work you thru every step needed to solve your issue and don't hang-up or rush until its resolved no matter HOW long it takes. The longest hold time   (and this is rare)was ten minutes]]></content>
